Granactive Retinoid 2% in Squalane is a high-strength, low-irritation serum. It has been proven to soften fines lines, improve pigment problems and revitalise skin. A water-free solution, this stars a 2% concentration of advanced retinoid active ‘Granactive Retinoid’, which has been shown to defy ageing without any of the irritation commonly caused by retinol use. This is The Ordinary’s moderate strength formulation. For a higher version, try Granactive Retinoid 5% or Retinol 1%.
How to Use:
Apply a small amount of Granactive Retinoid 2% in Squalane to face in the PM as part of your skincare regimen, after water serums but before heavier treatments. Do not use with other retinoid treatments. Avoid unprotected solar exposure.
Caution:
Retinoids can make the skin more sensitive to UV radiation. Therefore, sun protection is particularly important when using this serum. This product must not be used in conjunction with other retinoids including retinol or retinoic acid. Acne-prone skin may experience a temporary increase in acne during the first few weeks of using any form of retinoid including those used in this formulation.
It is recommended to avoid any skincare products containing retinoids if expecting or breastfeeding.
