The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution is an exfoliating toning solution which offers mild exfoliation for improved skin radiance and visible clarity. The formula also improves the appearance of skin texture with continued use.

The Ordinary Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Toner (as it is now known) is an exfoliator that significantly smoothes skin texture and promotes the appearance of a more even skin tone, as well as more luminous skin, with regular use. It also reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles. The water-based toner format is suited to daily use.

It contains a 7% concentration of Glycolic acid – a well-studied alpha-hydroxy acid – and a plant-derived Tasmanian Pepperberry derivative, which varies in colour seasonally, and which may cause an apparent colour variation in the formula from time to time.

Use ideally in the PM, every other day. After cleaning, saturate a cotton pad with glycolic acid toning solution and sweep across the face and neck. Do not rinse off. Continue with additional skin treatments as needed. If persistent irritation occurs discontinue use and consult a physician. This formula should not be used on sensitive, peeling or compromised skin. Make sure to apply and re-apply your sunscreen during the day as glycolic acid increases sensitivity to the sun.

NB: Take note that the packaging may read Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution or Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Toner. Both are genuine products. Any new stock will read Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Toner on the packaging. The formula remains the same and the change is only in the name.
